To organize various local level programmes and cempetitions to promote the cause of sports in Nepal with special emphasis on encourageing women's participation.
To organize sports competitions/programmes of national and international standard with special emphasis on the participation of women.
To honour, award and provide scholarships to women to attract, encourage and ensure their participation in sports.
To help ensure the representation of women at the decision making level of all sports related bodies by at least 10% by December 2000 and raise the position to 20% by the end of December 2005 as per the guidelines of International Olympic Committee.
To prepare publicity materials to promote the cause of sports and to organize talk progammes, workshops and seminars related to sports from time to time.
To publish soprts magazines and souvenirs from time to time.
To organize programmes aimed at promoting Nepal and Nepalese culture aboard and encourage exchange of experiences.
To promote international peace, fraternity, goodwill and co-operation though sports.
